How environmental factors, grape-growing, winemaking and maturation options influence the style and quality of wines made from eight principal grape varieties:

Syrah/Shiraz
The style and quality of wines:
made from 22 regionally important grape varieties
produced in over 70 geographical indications (GIs) around the world
How grape varieties and winemaking processes influence key styles of:
Sparkling wines
Fortified wines
Key labelling terms used to indicate origin, style and quality
Principles and processes involved in the storage and service of wine
Principles of food and wine pairing
When registering for the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, the "WSET Booking Form" must be filled in, signed and sent to wset@thewinehub.se. Also do not forget to read the booking conditions before you send the pdf to us.
After registering and paying for the WSET course, the study material can be picked up at The Wine Hub. Email wset@thewinehub.se to book pick-up. The study material can also be posted, but the shipping is then paid for by the student himself.
Before the start of the course, you as a student must be well prepared for the education. It is therefore important that you read the ENTIRE course material at least once and that you feel familiar with the content. You are welcome to study actively with the course book the time before the education. Expect the course to require between 11 - 20 hours of self-study. By preparing for the education, you get the best conditions for passing the examination that is done during the last day of the course (day 3).

Please note that course dates can be moved forward with at least three weeks notice and that a minimum of 6 participants is required.
