The Council of Whiskey Masters offers a four level certification program where the levels 1 and 11 are conducted remotely/online.
Do you want to immerse yourself in the amazing drink of whisky? Then this is for you. The course is at a basic level and you don’t need any prior knowledge, just a passionate interest. Choose between Scotch and Bourbon. Or do both!

The Level 1 consists of two different credentials:
The Certified Scotch Professional (CSP) program covers a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum. Beginners will find the program accessible without prior knowledge, and experienced professionals or hobbyists will find the depth of the curriculum demanding and satisfying. The Council of Whiskey Masters sets the highest global standard for knowledge and competence in Single Malt Whisky appreciation. Its study program and certification exam are the gold standard in the industry.
The Certified Bourbon Professional (CBP) program covers a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum. Beginners will find the program accessible without prior knowledge, and experienced professionals or hobbyists will find the depth of the curriculum demanding and satisfying. The Council of Whiskey Masters sets the highest global standard for knowledge and competence in Bourbon and other American whiskey appreciation. Its study program and certification exam are the gold standard in the industry.
