WSET level 3 Award in Wine is an advanced level qualification intended for those who want to deepen their knowledge of the wine world and at a detailed level gain an understanding of grape growing and winemaking.
After the course, you will be able to assess different types of wines and with certainty explain wines and their quality. After completing your education, you will be awarded a WSET level 3 certification. The course is given in English.

How it works
Course format:
- Number of days: 5 days
- Recurrency: 3 + 2 consecutive days
- Time: 09.00 to 16.30
- Home study: minimum 50 hours
Examination:
- When: Last day of the course
- Duration: 2h30
- Format:
- Tasting: 30 min – 2 wines
- Theory: 2hours – 50 multiple – choice questions and short written answer questions
- A mark of 55% minimum on both part of the exam is required to pass.

Study time
Before the start of the course, you as a student must be well prepared for the course.
Therefore, it’s important that you read the entire course material at least once and that you feel familiar with the content. We strongly advice you to study the course material before the course.
Expect WSET level 3 to require about 50 hours of self-study.
By preparing for the education, you get the best conditions for passing the examination
that is done during the last day of the course.
