(WINE & SPIRIT EDUCATION TRUST)

WSET is an international and well-respected educational institution that offers a number of different qualifications in wine. A WSET qualification gives you a good  understanding of wine and the international wine industry. In addition, you will learn to taste wine using WSET’s systematic approach to tasting wine (SAT) and to talk about drinks in English. A perfect education for you who are a wine importer or who want to work with wine outside Sweden.

At The Wine Hub, you can choose to read the WSET level 2 and 3 Award in Wines. All WSET courses are given in English and the language applies to both classroom teaching and course materials. Both courses are given during the day and during 3 and 3 + 2 consecutive days with a final examination during the last day.  Do you have questions about WSET? WSET level 2 Award in Wines Umeå

The WSET level 2 Award in Wines is a qualification for beginners intended for those who want to learn more about wine in general. In the course you will gain knowledge about the most important and geographically, most important grape varieties in the world, the regions where they are grown and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence. After completing the training, you will receive WSET level 2 certification. The course is given in English.

WSET Level 3 Award in Wines Umeå

WSET level 3 Award in Wine is an advanced level qualification intended for those who want to deepen their knowledge of the wine world and at a detailed level gain an understanding of grape growing and winemaking. After the course, you will be able to assess different types of wines and with certainty explain wines and their quality. After completing your education, you will be awarded a WSET level 3 certification. The course is given in English.
